Sea of Opportunities

  I've been blogging since 2008.   Hard to imagine that time has gone by so quickly.   One of the first posts included this photo.   I remember this photo - totally unplanned - we had gone to the mall - and when you walked into JC Penny's, the photo studio was the first thing you saw.   So we stopped and had photos done.  I love how tan everyone is - and relaxed.   I wish we could go back to such wonderful, relaxing days - we didn't know how good we had it.  

  Spring comes with it the desire to make everything fresh !   After being locked down for nearly a year - the need for NEW is all consuming. Not looking to break the bank - we have the same chairs in the dining room that we purchased when we first got married (OK, I purchased them - we were poor at the time)    I've recovered them a few times - I hate the last ones I did although they've served us well for the past 10 years.  I LOVE this fabric - but I am worried it will be too dark on my dark cherry wood chairs.  Oh well - I'm shopping at Fabric.com and their prices are reasonable - so I'm going for it.  Also ordering fabric to redo the back porch - so many plans !!  I'll include a few photos of the before looks so you have an idea.   I was going to replace the plain white sheers too - the ones I picked were $158 a YARD!!  I didn't know fabric could be so expensive - especially when you can see through it.  Obviously I d...
